Other Studio Tomahawk rules

Does anyone out there know anything about the Muskets and Tomahawk rules - if they are as good as Saga I would certainly like to try them!

was hoping to find a review of this new ruleset as prior to Saga being released i bought a heap of Last of the Mohicans era figures from various manufacturers and might actually use them if the rules are anywhere near as accessible as Saga.

Unfortunately I think the very success of Saga may have pushed Muskets and Tomahawks to the perpetual back burner, which is a shame. A french version of Muskets has been printed if you have good translation skills. I actually volunteered to help edit the English version and never had a response from the Tomahawk team. Personally I'd much rather see this game come out before another Saga supplement (ducks to avoid thrown stones), but I don't blame the team for wanting to follow the tide of success while it's still strong. Would like to hear a firm release date for the FIW game though and reassurance that it is coming out in 2012! Either that or I may just cave and buy the French version... ;)

Latest issue of Wargames Illustrated suggesting that FIW ruleset from Tomahawk would be released at Salute. Any details please? My copy not yet arrived.

I'm sure Alex will reply to this one.

I couldn't possibly confirm or deny if I've read the rules and am really excited by them

Also very excited about this. The ad in WI mentioned special pre-cut "cards" - will this be card driven or battle board?
