Tostig - the truth can be told!

Postby Tostig Godwinson » Fri Feb 24, 2012 12:29 am

Okay - I admit I've always had a soft spot for history's losers... and Tostig (the black-sheep brother of King Harold) has been pretty much bad mouthed for the past 1000 years but a couple of years ago I knuckled down and did a little research to try to get a better picture of the man who's name I had been wearing in Lord of the Rings Online for a few years... the results are this (very) short story which is all based on historical research although some was contradictary and I've also simplified some of his wanderings between the Scandanavian countries while he looked for a sponsor.

Nice piece of writing , quite terse and atmospheric.
Dont you fancy writting up Tostig Godwinson as a Saga Hero?
