Postby steve29651 » Fri May 04, 2012 10:02 am

With Ian FISHER, I intend to run a Saga Comp. at Toy Soldier on the 21st/22nd July at Marauder Games, Stockport, we hope to get 6 games over the weekend
with a prize for overall winner and best painted Warband. Gripping beast have kindly agreed to sponser the event, details are still being thrashed out at the moment, but any one interested can can further details from Marauder Games Website.
Any advice on which are the best Scenarios to use would be helpful, or which not to use.

There doesn't seem to be any information about it on the Marauder Games website. What is Toy Soldier ?

Toy Soldier is a two day comp. run at Stockport, just outside Manchester, it has WFB 40K, FOW and a couple of other game system, it used to be run at Preston Univ.
I have attended most of the events and up to last year played WAB. If no details are up on the site they will be soon. Always good fun in the past.

Hi,

Is the intention to run the Saga comp over the two days or one? I am 10 minutes away in Poynton and like to attend but I think I can only do the Saturday.

Steve,

would attend but really bad time as my family disappear on hols the day after. Seeing as I would like to keep all my anatomy in place I won't even raise the possibility with the wife!

Hi Steve - I'd be interested in attending the event but only if it was over both days as Stockport is quite a trek for me. However, I wouldn't sign up to an event this far in advance (I haven't signed up the the WAB GT yet and that's in March). My experience from running events at Colours and Warfare etc is that people tend not to commit until much nearer the event.
Hope you get enough interest. Cheers Wayne.
