Firstly I apologise for my first post leaning towards the negative side of things but I am a long time lurker on the forum but am only now being able to get to grips with Saga. I ordered the rules at the end of feb from a very good UK online retailer with some saxon and viking dice, as well as some gripping beast vikings. In the mean time I started to paint a few plastics up as well. The company I ordered from stated they would send the ordered when it was all in. No problems as I had some painting to do. At the begining of this month the retailer sent the rules and figures along stating they were still waiting on dice(just under ten weeks since order). Im patient, but Im starting to worry. I check this forum reguarily and unless Ive missed something there has not been an update on dice for some time other than there is an order in. I can even understand GB taking a load of dice to Salute to make the most of gaining new clients. Im sure its not the case but it feels like the dice situation has taken a back seat to new releases and may run & run. Come on GB throw me and anyone else still waiting for dice product a bone, please.

next from what I know the next dice order is due soon and that will be going out to the distributers and from there to the traders for general sale. I cant give any dates I'm afraid but it shouldn't be too long

Dice supply seems to have been a problem from the 1st day of the games release, Eight months later there is still a problem .Will supply ever equal demand.

oh don't worry the dice supply is never far from the mind from all at GB, but as soon as they come in we'll let you know

I need some Viking dice.

it is a sad state of affairs for me also, would really wish the dice would be in stock again soon enough. The dice is a good draw to players, and makes using the boards easier. Hope they are worth the 19$ for a set of 8 dice. Waiting waiting waiting waiting... =p

It's pretty easy to make nice-looking dice using blanks (the ones with recesses are best).
Download the symbols, cut them out, stick on the dice, varnish.
A set of blank dice is £2.50 for 8, and it takes an hour or so to make up a set.

i didnt realise you could print the symbols and make your own so thank you. One question what are the dimensions of the saga dice.

they are 15mm across but size isn't important
