Oh just found some super high density metal discs - 3mm wide but their mass is great enough to glue one foot of a figure on and keep the figure up right ... so can now get all of a 12 figure unit into a VS of one lone figure (so long as they are not using my bases too) ...

Sorry Rich, I was trying to be friendly and diplomatic as I think Dagg had some good points...

We also had a similar question re the cavalry scenario when its a unit of mounted Warriors that could be in 2 ranks of 4 - like many here I suspect, my figures are based for WAB and spend their time between skirmishing and full scale battles. I note all the power gamer and sort it out yourselves points, but as said even at a friendly level people want to know the intent of the rules as certainly the group I play in, whilst not being rules lawyers, equally don't like making up house rules. If its the case that VS is 50.8mm and a standard WAB cavalry base is 50mm then technically the 0.8 of a mm means that the second rank is in and thats fine but as said it would be useful to understand if thats the intent too.

The intent is definitely for a a second "rank" of cavalry to be able to add its Attack Dice to the melee.

Im locking this one Alex has clearly stated the intention was for a second rank to be in for the purposes of melee.
